ABCD

A= accurate
B= brief
C= clear
D= direct
 
Accurate means free from error or defect; consistent with a standard, rule, or model; precise; exact (see http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/accurate).

Brief means short in duration, extent, or length (see http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/brief). Brief also means lasting or taking a short time; of short duration (see http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/brief)

Clear means to free from confusion, doubt, or ambiguity; make plain or intelligible (see http://www.thefreedictionary.com/clear).

Direct means straightforward in means or manner or behavior or language or action (see http://www.thefreedictionary.com/direct).

Assertive people have a natural "ABCD" way of getting their points across; they're Accurate, Brief, Clear, and Direct. You know where you stand with them.
