Introspection... (Muhasabah)

In Al-Quran

Al Baqarah: 195

And spend of your substance in the cause of Allah, and make not your own hands Contribute to (your) destruction; But do good; For Allah loveth those Who do good.

Al Ra’d : 11

For each (such person)

There are (angels) in succession.

Before and behind him:

They guard him by command of Allah.

Verely never

Will Allah change the condition

Of a people until they change it themselves (with their own souls)

An Najm: 39 - 40

39.    The man can have nothing

         But what he strives for;

40.    That (the fruit of) his striving

         will soon come in sight.
